Aamir's Shahrukh Dog Blog Is a Compliment To King Khan

Aamir's Shahrukh Dog Blog Is a Compliment To King Khan

I just read Aamir Khan's blog on Shahrukh! Let me state at the outset that I am a "casual" Aamir Khan fan. I like Shahrukh too, but he is irritating at times and too clever for his own good! What I mean to say that I am not really a Bollywood crazed person, so my views are pretty unbiased.

Kareena Kapoor Looks Hot on the cover of ‘Time Out’

Kareena Kapoor, with her newly attained diva status, can rightly be crowned as the queen of cover girls. This time the gal graces the cover of ‘Time Out’ magazine with the best of her glamour quotient. The cover itself is so inviting, the hawkers will definitely be unable to meet the demands of all the hands asking for a copy of it.

In the interview to the magazine, Kareena speaks candidly about her childhood days with sister Karisma, how they used to travel by school bus and local trains. Their mother Babita’s single handed upbringing, and even about Saif that he has to come to meet her as she is too shoestring tied about time.

Hope you fellas have booked your copy before everything gets sold out!

SRK’s performance cancelled - Breaking news

The Kolkata Knight Riders owner, Shah Rukh Khan will not be able to perform at his team's second home match on Tuesday against Mumbai Indians at Eden Gardens, according to this breaking news.

The performance has been postponed for unavoidable circumstances, co-owner Jay Mehta, on behalf of Shah Rukh, told reporters on Saturday evening.

"But SRK will be present at the grounds on Tuesday. And if every thing goes fine he may perform at the third home match on May 8," he said.

Cricket Association Of Bengal (CAB) president Prasun Mukherjee told IANS: "Red Chillies wants the dais to be dismantled. But we have not been told why Shah Rukh has refused to perform here."

The cancellation of the show will, however, result in more tickets for the public.

"Once we remove the 48ftx40ft stage from the ground 6,000 more seats will be made available to the people," Mukherjee said.

CAB officials said once the dais is removed, tickets for 4,000 seats at J-block and 2,000 seats at H, I and K blocks in the gallery will be on sale.

Ticket sales for the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians started on Thursday morning at CAB ticket counters in Kolkata.

And from the very first day, there was unrest among people over the scarcity of tickets.

CAB joint secretary Amitabha Bandopadyay told IANS: "Almost 70 percent of the tickets were sold out within a few hours on Thursday itself - after all Kolkata is going to witness Sourav Ganguly batting against Sachin Tendulkar for the first time."

Since Thursday, disappointed cricket-lovers have been staging demonstrations in front of the counters, accusing CAB and Red Chillies for black-marketing tickets.

SRK and Salman Star Opposite New Girls!

The latest news is that Shahrukh Khan is going to star opposite a new girl in his next film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and good friend Salman Khan will also be seen romancing a young Punjabi girl in Vipul Shah's London Dreams.

The two new (lucky)girls, I should say, hail from Chandigarh and Mumbai and have been shortlisted for Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and are currently undergoing training for the role at the Yash Raj studios.

Sources say that Adi is keen on pairing the Mumbai girl with Shahrukh. Meanwhile, Vipul Shah is searching for a newcomer with whom Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan will fall in love in London Dreams. So, girls wake up and rush, who knows who will be selected for that meaty role?

Aishwarya Rai Replaced by Katrina Kaif?

Aishwarya Rai enjoyed the popularity in the cyberworld as being the most searched for celebrity, but now has been replaced by Katrina Kaif. Katrina is the latest Bollywood star with maximum number of downloads and searches, which are far more than Aishwarya, according to latest reports.

On the male front, it is still ShahRukh Khan who rules the cyberworld for maximum number of downloads and searches.

Irrfan khan In Mira Nair's Next

Irrfan Khan wants to play challenging roles and so has opted to play a role in Mira Nair's next movie on AIDS, The Migration. He will apparently play the role of a gay in the movie!

In fact, Irrfan refused a staid role in the film in order to play a homosexual. "She offered me the part of the sweet, simple and straight farmer that Shiney Ahuja finally did. I saw no challenge in that. Give me roles that aren't fake," Irrfan, who plays an unhappily married man in a secret anguished affair with another in the film, told IANS.
